In the loot: Gallente Control Tower Medium, and a Shadow Serpentis Control Tower 3 Run BPC... Yeah, I know, nothing really amazing, but it's just SO MUCH FUN chasing a target 20+ jumps to finally clobber it and have all the good loot survive! We initially engaged the AFK target up north, and due to some miscommunication and a few other issues, we didn't complete the kill. Target was down to 90% structure. So we followed it (STILL AFK LOL) for something like 16+ jumps while everyone's aggro wore off. All the shooters scrambled to get into new ships and we dropped the target one jump from it's estimated destination. Hunting targets in high sec is great fun. For the pirates at least. Taking a vacation as it were from any sort of 'serious' PVP. (Frankly, I've never referred to high-sec ganking as PVP, ever.) And there have been so many failed attempts by Cyrene to blob/gank members of my corp, or myself in particular that your whole alliance is just a joke. The few times I have engaged in combat with Cyrene has resulted in the destruction of 90-100% (never less than 90%) of the Cyrene targets, with zero losses to my group. You guys show up with one or two bait ships, and you have another dozen or more blob ships waiting a system or two off. I have your whole gang specced out a half hour before you're even in local. I see you coming from a mile away. Your tactics and skills are a joke. Cyrene only comes around when they have 3:1 numbers and then smack in local and proclaim how skilled and cool they are, and about how 'chicken' everyone else is. If the numbers are even close to even, there isn't a fight. And it's definitely too much to ask to get a fight that isn't at a station or gate where the gate guns are pounding on us the whole time. Ok, running missions for the caldari makes your gallente npc standings go down, as does failing missions for gal npc corps. Your sec status with concord has nothing to do with that afaik. You can't even manage to get a pathetic bounty on your worthless hide. Why do you even bother posting? Not for the Federal Naval Academy it doesn't. Indeed, you should have someone with some modicum of intelligence explain how sec status and standings with NPC corps work to you. It's like you people (read: dumb as rocks anti-pirates) have never experienced someone using more than one character in Eve before. You can't get -10.00 to FNA by failing a few missions. Or any sort of mission. Same goes with all the rest of the NPC corps that I have extremely bad standing with (-9.98, -9.85, etc. etc.). Point being, this character isn't my 'shooter' any more. All you need is to fly through a high sec gate with a stabbed-out hauler into a gatecamp composed of enough ships from a corp you're at war with, who have enough scram and web to hold you there, and there's nothing that's going to save you. Even if your friends escort you through the gate, if the camp wants the hauler, it's gone. The above situation you describe pretty much sums up the very definition of 'idiot'.
